With our Maine weather cooperating more and more, daffodils are at full bloom; parkas are stored away, and flip flops reign once again. Even with a chill we all will stick with our sandals. Visibility is offering OkaB sandals at the both shops. They are made in the USA and are wonderfully comfortable with a nice touch of glam… not too much, just enough. Sandal motifs include starfish, sand dollars, and some spectacular glitz.
The hottest items in the store right now are the new LuluB pull-on or button capris (long and short) and LuluB skirts. When was the last time you tried on a skirt and found it to be so comfortable, you didn’t want to take it off. The LuLuB pant line is just a fantastic fit because of it’s “tummy control fabric”. You might actually be able to wear a size DOWN in this line. That alone is enough for everyone to run, not walk, to try on one of the great colors – coral, coca brown, tan, white, or black! Stop by and see for youself.
Visibility is always stocking new makeup items. Right now the new felt tip eyeliners are superb and the lip crayon is suitable for everyone’s season! After you try on your pants, you can test the new makeup. You will leave looking and feeling like a million dollar May flower! Mary has received a new shipment of the beautiful glitzy magnet bracelets. She has also added some neat matching necklaces that are really sharp!
We are stocking new wristlet bags, bigger bags, sunglasses, readers, and summer scarves. May will be a memorable month~!

So many new spring clothes are now at Visibility. Everyone who is local has the “first look” opportunity at what clothes Visibility will be carrying at Port Boutique. We have all the clothing lines shipped to Visibility to be inventoried and readied for the Old Port. Carie prepares the clothes and Mary coordinates the jewelry – and, the new jewelry Mary has created is spectacular. Visibility will always keep the shop at 1041 Washingotn Avenue well stocked with scarves and jewelry.
We want to remind all our wonderful customers that we are doing the same wonderful things at Visibility we always have done – offering services for waxing and facial treatments with Susan, hair color and styles with Stuart, massages with Aimee, and custom made jewelry with Mary! And, clothing color/style consults with Carie. Mary is our command central for letting clients know where we will be on what days… so you can always call Visibility 207-347-7148 or if you want, call Port Boutique at 207-879-1110.
We opened Port Boutique as we were building the store… and clients came by to visit. Laurie Davis stopped by to say hi, Diane Cunningham stopped by with her husband before the Flower Show, Trudy Winnie stopped by as she was out walking with her neighbor, and Anne Croft was our first sale!! Mary is showing new ribbon necklaces for spring!
Yes, Visibility bought Port Boutique from Bev Anderson December 2012. The women’s clothing and accessory store at 2 Wharf Street has undergone a complete “makeover” with new hardwood floors and new paint throughout the store. It looks absolutely beautiful. Linnette Pride, our property manager, did a fabulous job picking everything out and guiding the project to completion right on time! So with our brand new digs ready to move in we are doing just that. Carie, Susan, and Mary are working to move the new merchandise into the store over the next week and offficially open the doors mid-March. It would be very appealing to have the snow end, the sun warm the cobblestones outside our doorstep, and spring peak out of the ground for this event, but we will just have to be patient…
We look forward to all our friends of Visibility visiting us at Port Boutique at 2 Wharf Street (across from Beal’s Ice Cream at the corner of Moulton and Wharf Street) when we are finally open. But remember, the clothes arrive at Visibility first and then we bring them to Port Boutique. This gives you a sneak peak at what’s new. This will always assure your size, color, and variety will be available to you!
